the year is 1977, and the infamous hogwarts bunch of james, remus, sirius and friends {and foes} are in their seventh year of school: and graduation seems only days away to them.

lily finally seems to be coming around snape finally seems out of the picture. remus thinks that he's found the girl of his dreams and sirius is still playing around with girls, but secretly wishing that some special girl will come around. miyun and james are a thing of the past, and she and lily still remain best friends. peter has started to drift away from his friends and has become something of a loner.

gideon prewett has come to rival sirius when it comes to the pursuit of a girl, and for once, sirius feels challenged. sixth year amelia bones has found a passion for law enforcement, and an enemy in a certain slytherin boy. graduate cornelius fudge is an apprentice at the ministry already and has started his steady rise to power. and ted tonks has seemed to have found the love of his life in andromeda black, a former ravenclaw, causing problems in the black household.

andromeda has finally started breaking free of her family, with finding a love in a muggle, ted tonks, but this has become no easy task. fabian prewett, older brother and graduate of gideon prewett, newfound playboy, is struck between his work and love life. rita skeeter has started a gossip column at the hogwarts herald which has got some people talking.

and last but not least, the slytherins. known for their cunning, some things don't change over the course of years. lucius and narcissa are now engaged, but not all seems fair between these two fair faced, blonde haired former slytherins. severus snape is dismayed that lily has crossed over to james' side, but he has vowed a revenge... regulus black, younger brother of infamous sirius is starting to have doubts about some of his slytherin friends. bellatrix has found a slytherin crush, and will do anything to keep him to herself. and the graduated carrow twins seemed to have found another leader to follow, and are recruiting....
